Sister Mintaka presents the Luna Vest with Kite Sleeves + Paradise Jacquard Kit.

The Jacket

The Luna Vest with Kite Sleeve is an easy-to-make unlined jacket with a collar and snap buttons as well as side pockets. The Kite Sleeve has a sculptural shape and features a button cuff. The pattern comes with two lengths, long and short.

This kit is designed for the short version jacket. You can add additional items to the kit if you wish to make the long length.

This pattern is for the confident beginner.

This kit contains:

• Luna Vest + Kite Sleeves paper sewing pattern
• 2.5 meters of Paradise Jacquard fabric, which is enough to create the short version of the jacket in up to a size XXL
• Black Cotton Sateen for the pockets
• Interfacing
• A spool of Black 100m Sew-All Thread
• Universal Heavy Machine Needles

Optional, you can add the following to your kit:

• 1 meter of Paradise Jacquard fabric, which is enough to create the long version of the jacket in up to a size XXL
• Black 15mm Anorak Snaps – add 1 for the short version jacket, add 2 for the long version jacket
• Prym Pliers to apply the Anorak Snaps
