Sister Mintaka presents this lovely Big Cats French Terry by Nerida Hansen.
“This is a knit fabric similar to jersey, with loops on one side and soft piles of yarn on the other. This knit results in a soft, plush texture you’ll recognise from your comfiest sweatshirts and other kinds of loungewear. French terry is midweight—lighter than cold-weather sweatpants but heavier than your typical tee.”
You could make the Nora Cardigan or the Bertha Cardigan. It would also be great for a Linden Sweatshirt, or a long Jumper Dress.
This fabric has 45% stretch crosswise and 30% lengthwise at maximum.
I’d recommend using a pattern that requires a little less stretch than the maximum amount to enable good recovery.
