Description
Sister Mintaka is very excited to present the sparkly Midnights quilted fabric, made with Recycled Yarns.
The fabric is fairly thick and squishy. It features a mix of pleating and quilting. The outer layer is woven with metallic threads which shimmer in the light. There is a layer of black wadding in the middle. The bottom layer the fabric is a plain, and you can see the subtle outlines of the stars. The metallic threads do not go through to the bottom layer.
This fabric would be amazing for winter garments like jackets and waistcoats. You could make straight fitted mini skirts, pinafores and winter trousers (Neighborhood Patterns Block Party Pants.)
Look for patterns that are suited for quilted fabrics.
You’re not restricted to just garments, picture this as cushions, zip up pouches, bags and so much more!
This fabric is 58% Cotton, 40% Polyester, 2% Metallic Fibres.
74% of the yarns used in this textile are Recycled Yarns, which is made up of 46% Cotton, 28% Polyester.
The width of the pleats are approximately 2cm.
Our fabrics are sold by the half meter. If you wish to order 1.5 meters please add the quantity 3 to your basket.
Please note that because fabric is cut to order, it may not be returned or exchanged.
We do our best to get accurate images of all of our fabrics, but due to varying monitor screens, colours may differ slightly to the original fabric.
